    Medieval shoes hand sewn with a waxed linen thread in a quality leather (vegetable tanned) using the turned shoe technique.

    These shoes are reconstructed from a listed archaeological piece "type IV" according to York typology.

    These shoes model appears in the end of the IXth century and lasts until the middle of the 11th century.

    This type of shoe is common in all North-West Europe in this period.

    These shoe are made according to archeological sources.

     

    For accurate fitting please send a paper template of your foot, taken whilst wearing the socks you intend to wear with the shoes.
